‘It’s Kind of a Funny Story’ to make audiences giggle

October 11, 2010

“It’s Kind of a Funny Story” hits theaters this week and is sure to impress audiences with its touching love story and wholesome, family values. With a low-key indie music soundtrack, and diverse character personalities, “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” will impress audiences with its representation of teenage love and idea that life is precious, even when it becomes unbearable.

Zach Galafianakis, who earned quite a bit of attention for his role in “The Hangover,” plays an immature adult who will leaves a resonating message with audiences, both old and young. Galafianakis performs in a serious role, and plays alongside characters with “crazy” personalities.

One of my favorite aspects of this “Funny Story” is the random, offsetting fantasies that the main character, Craig, has throughout the film. Ever so humorous, they add a kind of relaxed tone to the sensitive subjects of suicide and mental institutions.

I watched the film at a/perture cinema, but check Fandango to see where it’s playing near you!
